I had a Digitech RP-250 for several years.

I loved that thing. Was able to get some killer recorded toanz out of it.

I gave it away about a year ago to a younger kid starting out playing guitar.

It's a good feeling to give a piece of usable old gear to someone who shows/has interest. I might actually do that with my X3 someday.

Agree.

I've gotten more into tube amps, reactive load, impulse responses, etc..

Pretty sure that kid is actually using the thing and didn't just go pawn it.

As far as tube amps go I have a Peavey Valveking II 20MH. The mini. It sounds pretty good to me. I also have a DT50 (got it as a gift) which had serious problems from the beginning although Line 6 did fix it three times. Each time it had to make the trek 3000 miles to Calabasis, CA.

If I was more experienced when I first started to have problems I might've just wanted to send it back but I still have it. Every now and then I pull it out and crank it up on 50w mode. It does sound pretty good but the thing that bugs me about it (not a lot though) is on some of the topologies there is some low level white noise I guess it's called.

The other thing I worry about with it is if I have problems with it I won't be able to fix it and it will probably have to make it's way back home to Calabasis, CA, LOL. So far so good.

Since I've been playing around with Riffworks and my HD500 I figured I would share what I recorded with no real plan. Just set it all up, picked a drum set and started layering. After recording I save it, close it, disconnect everything and sit in comfort while I sort it out, lol.

Thanks dude! No bag needed.

I just put that bag head up cause I've been trying to have fun with gif/meme making. :)

For years I've been trying to learn Riffworks and have to breakdown and set up each time I want to play. I can't just leave it set up so it's ready. Also it's only been recently that I'm really starting to get a handle on the EQ in Riffworks and also the pods or at least I think so.
